My Bloody Poison???

Im bored, bored, bored and browsing through my picture collections in my terabyte harddrive...As I was scrolling thru I came across one of my poison!!!

Perodua Myvi D-Sport!!

I recalled that it happened in Bukit Jalil the day before the MMEr 2008. This is for those who has not seen it before..

This was D-Sport's first debut entering the Malaysian tuning scene and as we all know they are the specialist when it comes to Kei Kars notably for Daihatsu.

Since Perodua adopted from Daihatsu models, so it shares the same base chassis and engine with Daihatsu but without the force induction turbos....which makes our beloved Perodua abit lame.,unexciting.. (Malaysia pun byk segala dak bukit ngan gunong juak...semput eh kancil 660 mok berjalan xda turbo uiii....)

But its ok....Our JDM Kei Kar freaks go everywhere searching and hunting for rare (+insane price tags) JDM parts to transform their car into JDM models...So we do have Kancil, Kelisa, Kenari, Myvi and Viva turbos running around too...

This D-Sport Myvi sports the K3VE NA engines and was souped up with basics bolt on performance parts....Such as Racing 4-1 extractors, Twin Pipe exhaust systems, Drop-in (element) Air Filters, Low Temp Thermostats, Oil Caps, 1.3 Bar pressure Radiator Caps, and Pivot VS.

The handling setup are complemented with D Sport Stuffs... B-Spec Shocks, Front Lower Brace Bar, Front Strut Bar, B Pillar Brace Bar (room bar), Front Brake Rotors, High Temp Brake Pads, Braided Steel Hose but the funny part is......the rear dummy Brake Rotors (apa ka reti...da juak mod style Ah Beng...).

16” 5-Zigen wheels wrapped with TOYO Proxes T1-R fitted to this car. B Spec suspension peeking through...Slotted disc brakes

As for the interior they installed the rare Juran 3 Spoke steering wheels, Pivot’s gauges, Pivot’s Shift Light, D-Sports Gear Knobs and the best parts...the D-Sports Recaro SR3 Tomcats seats....

The bodykits are also from D-Sport but designed by our local designer from PROREKA which was also involved in designing the aerokits for R3 ( Race Rally Research, Proton's Tuning DiV.) .It has all the basics performance parts loaded and this car should handles well and has satisfying gains in terms of performance.

I like all the D-Sports products offered for Myvi except for the dummy rear rotors hmmm..but they only have products for Myvi and Viva owners only. Hope they will produce more products for our triple K(kancil kelisa kenari) fans too...
