Miri Motorsports Day

M.I.A of late with lack of updates, sorry about that but can't help it because I'm having such a great time during the long holidays..... so time best spent with the GoonS and families.. NO PC! NO Internet!

Lots of Motorsports related activities happening in Miri nowadays. More motor enthusiasts coming out of their holes and making their presence known...more of those who loves motorsports appearing out of nowhere and trying to do something for the local scenes....It's great development for Sarawak as a whole.

Miri has always been known as the Drag Capital of Borneo with Machines from all over Sabah, Sarawak and Brunei converging here for the Borneo Cup. I hear it will be even bigger this year with SARSA's involvement with several series being organised before the penultimate championship decider to be held in Miri.

Last Sunday there was a drift clinic organized by GT Motorsports. It was the first of its kind in Sarawak...yeah..we have been lagging behind in the development of Motorsport as you can see...you have to thank the tight arse of the powers that be for that..

So finally now Miri have drift & drag events.....

How about grip driving? We already have a proper kart-track(boleh la juak tarit sampe gear 3 k keta)...but exclusive just for go-kart & cub prix?

Come on....In Kuching they only have the Football stadium's parking lot for them to have some fun..why can't we?

The R/C heads are one of the most active in the State..they hold their own races every weekend at our lovely go kart track parking lot. There are even three of them that actively involved competitively in international R/C races.

Miri holds annually a track meet for R/C enthusiasts all over Malaysia held here.

At the same time and in the same venue, the dirt bikers tearing the earth with great actions too! All in these in the Go-Kart track area and its Sunday...NICE




As for myself, My last Sunday saw me indulging in abit of fun and joined VESPACOM(Vespa Club of Miri) for a joyride to Luak Bay and it was fun haha!!

I tried to do the slingshot moves like one in cub-prix but ended up with back pain..deym!
